Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency is a core value at ToolTago

How ToolTago Earns Revenue

ToolTago is a free resource. We do not charge users for accessing reviews, comparisons, or recommendations. Instead, we earn revenue through affiliate commissions.

When you click a link to a SaaS tool on our website and subsequently sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the tool's affiliate program. This is at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the tool's website.

How Affiliate Links Work

Affiliate links on ToolTago are clearly identified. They use a server-side redirect through our /go/ path, which allows us to track click counts without setting any cookies on your device.

All affiliate links in our HTML include the rel="nofollow sponsored" attribute, as required by search engine guidelines. This ensures that our affiliate relationships are transparent to both users and search engines.

Our Editorial Independence

We take editorial independence seriously. Here is how we ensure that affiliate commissions do not compromise the quality or integrity of our content:

  • Scores are data-driven — Every tool is evaluated using our standardized methodology across five dimensions. Affiliate status does not influence scores.
  • Rankings are based on merit — Tools are ranked by their overall score. A higher-paying affiliate program does not earn a tool a higher position.
  • Verdicts are honest — In our comparison pages, the recommended tool is the one we genuinely believe is better for the specified use case, regardless of commission rates.
  • Negative reviews exist — If a tool scores poorly, we say so. We do not hide weaknesses to protect affiliate relationships.
  • Comparisons are partner-only — We only publish head-to-head comparisons between tools that both have affiliate programs. This ensures balanced coverage where both tools get equal treatment and CTA visibility.

Which Tools Have Affiliate Programs

Most tools featured on ToolTago participate in affiliate programs, primarily through PartnerStack and other major affiliate networks. If a tool does not have an affiliate program, we either do not feature it or include it in category pages without earning any commission.

Identifying Affiliate Links

You can identify affiliate links on ToolTago in several ways:

  • CTA buttons like "Try [Tool] Free" or "Visit [Tool]" link through our affiliate redirect.
  • A small "Affiliate link" label appears under CTA buttons.
  • Every page on ToolTago includes an affiliate disclosure notice in the footer.
