Privacy Policy

Our Approach

ToolTago is built with privacy as a core principle. We collect the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to operate the website. We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, advertising scripts, or any form of user profiling.

Data Controller

This website is operated by Hologram shop s.r.o., V jámě 1371/8, 110 00 Praha, Czech Republic (Company ID: 01485105). For privacy-related inquiries, you can reach us at infotagoweb@gmail.com or through our contact page.

What We Collect

Server Logs

Our web server automatically records basic access logs that include your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, referrer URL, and user agent string. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and troubleshooting. They are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — ensuring the security and stable operation of the website.

Affiliate Click Tracking

When you click an affiliate link on ToolTago, we record the click event server-side. This data includes a timestamp, the tool slug, and the referring page. We do not store your IP address or any personally identifiable information with click events. No cookies are set for tracking purposes.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — measuring the performance of affiliate partnerships.

Contact Form

If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you voluntarily submit your data through the contact form.

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months after the inquiry is resolved, then permanently deleted.

Providing your data through the contact form is entirely voluntary. However, without your name and email address, we will be unable to respond to your inquiry.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising.
  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics service.
  • We do not build user profiles or track behavior across pages.
  • We do not share, sell, or transfer personal data to third parties.
  • We do not use fingerprinting or any other tracking technology.

Data Recipients

Your personal data may be processed by the following third-party service providers (data processors) acting on our behalf:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — web hosting and server infrastructure. Data is stored on servers located in the European Union.
  • Google LLC (United States) — email communication via Gmail. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the US.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

Cookies

ToolTago does not set any cookies. Because we do not use cookies for tracking or personalization, no cookie consent banner is required. If we introduce cookies in the future (for example, for language preferences), we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.

Third-Party Services

When you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to the third-party tool's website. Once you leave ToolTago, their privacy policy governs your data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any tools you sign up for through our links.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of access — You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Right to data portability — You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — You can object to the processing of your data.

  • Right to lodge a complaint — You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, www.uoou.cz) or your local supervisory authority if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at infotagoweb@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect data, including HTTPS encryption for all traffic, secure server infrastructure hosted in Europe (Hetzner), and restricted access to server systems.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
